The 15 to 17 year old Rangers are called Challenger. They work project orientated and increasingly self-responsibly whereat the responsiblity for and the service at their fellow cratures, the society and their church is of special importance and the project meant to be a real challenge for the adolescent. The goal of projects like these are RIDEs (Ranger in a serving action). RIDEs are actions with the purpose of serving people on a local, national and even international level.

This way a 3-star RIDE e.g. might take the adolescents to Romania for giving those in need relief supplies or leading charitable and missionary services in children´s homes. Our objective "Growing through Serving" has a central meaning for the Challenger program. The greatest distinction for a Challenger is the scout training.
